Beyond the sea – A Jazz & Latin Excursion [2017]

Ab 2014 legte ich meinen musikalischen Fokus zunehmend auf die Entwicklung meiner Vocals. Es begann eine faszinierende Reise durch die Genres Jazz und Latin – eine Musikwelt, die mich mit ihrer harmonischen und rhythmischen Komplexität schon immer in ihren Bann zog. Nach einigen Jahren und zahlreichen Live-Auftritten mit meinem neuen Programm war es Zeit für meine „Bachelor-Arbeit“: Die Aufnahmen zu diesem Album begannen. Inzwischen hat sich mein Repertoire weiterentwickelt, um meinen Live-Performances noch mehr Dramaturgie zu verleihen. Man darf also gespannt sein – irgendwann wird es Zeit für die „Master-Arbeit“.

Starting in 2014, I began to focus more and more on developing my vocals. This marked the beginning of a fascinating journey through the genres of jazz and Latin music—a musical world that has always captivated me with its harmonic and rhythmic complexity. After several years and numerous live performances with my new program, it was time for my “bachelor’s thesis”: the recordings for this album began. In the meantime, my repertoire has evolved to give my live performances even more drama. So stay tuned – at some point it will be time for the “master’s thesis.”
