Unser Debütalbum – wie so viele Erstlingswerke noch voller Power, frischer Ideen und gelungener Songauswahl. Ein wilder Ritt auf der Crossover-Welle der 90er. Aufgenommen mit einer 8-Spur Bandmaschine und natürlicher Bandsättigung, Drummachine statt Schlagzeug für den besseren Punch, sowie Bernds genialen Gitarrenriffs: gedoppelt und nach links und rechts gepant, klingt das vor allem über Kopfhörer ziemlich geil. „Little Fairy“ war hierauf ein Song den ich komplett alleine geschrieben und live eingespielt hatte. Erstaunlicherweise brauchte ich damals nur zwei Takes, bis das Ding im Kasten war – ein Fokus, den ich heute wohl kaum noch so reproduzieren könnte. Matthias Matuschik (damals Redakteur beim SWF) lobte den Track ausdrücklich, auch wenn er es kurioserweise nur selten in unser Live-Set geschafft hat. Trotz der Jahre, die vergangen sind, haben die Themen des Albums bis heute nichts an Aktualität eingebüßt.


Our debut album—like so many first works, still full of power, fresh ideas, and a successful selection of songs. A wild ride on the crossover wave of the 90s. Recorded with an 8-track tape machine and natural band saturation, a drum machine instead of drums for better punch, and Bernd’s ingenious guitar riffs: doubled and panned left and right, it sounds pretty awesome, especially through headphones. “Little Fairy” was a song I wrote completely on my own and recorded live. Amazingly, it only took me two takes to get it right—a level of focus I could hardly reproduce today. Matthias Matuschik (then editor at SWF) praised the track explicitly, even though, curiously, it rarely made it into our live set. Despite the years that have passed, the themes of the album have lost none of their relevance to this day.
